Remember the Human Mirror video I posted about a month back?
That act was arranged by Improv Everywhere, a group based in New York City, USA.
I was browsing through some of their other “missions” and came upon this which I really liked.
Now I am a huge fan of musicals, I really like the choreography, costumes, and spontaneous singing which blend together real well in the best musicals. So this “mission” was something I really liked as I watched it, and I really wish it could be brought right here to Singapore!
Mission: Food Court Musical
Have a group of “agents” spontaneously break out into song in the middle of a Los Angeles food court, while using video cameras to tape the reactions of astounded customers nearby.
JOSE MOURINHO is back in business — but the Special One has made a surprising career choice.
Instead of taking the opportunity to resurrect English hopes and dreams by taking charge of the English national team, Jose has popped up in… Setanta Sports… as a pundit!

Apple ran a series of TV ads in the USA promoting its Mac computers. Some of them are really hilarious! For consumers in other countries unable to view those ads, they are now available on the Apple site at this URL: http://www.apple.com/getamac/ads/
They all begin, with little variation, thus:
“Hello, I’m a Mac.”
“And I’m a PC.
Both actors proceed to then engage in a short, funny, conversation/cross-talk, with the Mac invariably getting the upper hand over the PC in a number of comical situations that highlight the Mac’s prowess.

This past Saturday, Newcastle United Football Club observed a minute’s applause in tribute to Jordan Thompson, a 15-year-old star in the Academy, who sadly passed away after a long fight with cancer.
This represents a welcome departure from the traditional minute’s silence that has been observed globally in memory of those who have left us.

What ecstasy! What joy! What sorrow! What sadness! Surely, in terms of its sheer, unadulterated intensity and excitement, the heights and depths of emotions fans experience, football is unrivaled.
Football is unpredictable, and therein lies its beauty and thrill. The improbable triumph of the underdog never ceases to fascinate. How many of us have become footie fans overnight after witnessing a fairy-tale run, a glorious triumph, a victory for the underdog against seeming insurmountable odds? Too many to count, probably.
As a remarkable example of both the passion and the beauty of football, look no further than the improbable defeats Scotland dished out to World Cup runners-up France during Euro2008 qualifying.

He who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world's believing him. This falsehood of tongue leads to that of the heart, and in time depraves all its good dispositions. - Thomas Jefferson
